Well... Mainly because they don't actually list Linux skills as 
desirable anywhere in the list.

I can understand wanting Windows experience AS WELL as Linux, but it's 
bizzare to me that they advertise for a Linux job, and only want 
applicants to have experience on OSes OTHER than Linux.

It's like seeing an advert "Motorcycle courier needed. Must have own 
car."
