Hi Geoff / Slug members.

I had a browse through the Unix Power Tools book I bought about six months
or so ago... This book was the one I was going to send back because it said
UNIX on the front instead of Linux. Verr nice book. Thanks for advising me
to keep it (Geoff Teale). It is a very well written book and does exactly
what it says on the can. It now has sparked me off to investigate the
command line a bit more, especially shell scripting.

Now here's the question. Now .. now .. no flaming please!

Which is better, Vi or Emacs?

Do they fulfil a similar role or is it worth learning both?

(Right. Im standing back and lighting the blue touch paper.......)
