Thanks Jon,  

I will have a go.  Nano which I use at the moment is a little too limited.
Knowing my inquisitive nature, I will probably try to learn some of both Vi
and Emacs in any case.

On another note, sorry I won't make the lugmoot yet again.  I am otherwise
occupied that night.
