Just to be clear: vi is _not_ the standard UNIX editor ( ed is!), and
many distros and rescue disks now include nano by default instead of vi
(because vi, as Dobbo would say, chooses it's friends carefully).
Learning vi is useful, and something every serious linux user might be
interested in doing, but a lot of the arguements made in it's favour are
truely nonsense.
