[Sussex] Vi?

Tony,

If you already now vi and are happy with it then I wouldn't expect
anyone to change.

I would encourage people without such affiliation to learn emacs if they
plan to do serious amounts of work in a text environment.  So if you're
a programmer new to Linux or a wannabe programmer Emacs is the place to
be.

All religious wars aside, learning a powerful text editor, like vi or
emacs is a useful tool to any one doing something non-trivial with a
computer.
