[Sussex] Debian Sarge DVD

I have been given a DVD of Debian Sarge by a friend (from the June issue
of Linux Magazine) & as he is a devoted SuSE user, he thought of me.

Looking at debian.org, it seems to me that Sarge is fairly bug free on
the Intel x86 side (this is a non-developer trying to understand
developer-speak, so maybe I'm wrong).

Is anyone aware of any big problems that might ward me off from
upgrading just now?

I want OpenOffice & a 2.6 kernel & the Sarge DVD has them both.
