[Sussex] April's Moot

Tony,

It was a pleasure to give the talk to such a good audience. Talking to
people technical and interested enough to join a LUG guarantees a crowd who,
while they may not want to do quite what I'm doing, do at least understand
the concept of fascination with a particular technology area.

If any of you have contacts with other (not too far away) LUGs, and you
think they'd be interested, let me know, and me or one of the guys can do
something similar for them.

TiVo is no longer marketed in the UK, thought second-hand ones come up from
time to time, normally on eBay.

Alternatively, projects like MythTV give much of the functionality, albeit
requiring a PC (which is likely to be more expensive than buying a TiVo...
unless you already have one with sufficient spec and disk capacity.)

M.
