Well I did a stage1 install + kde + gnome from source with no distcc
on a Dual 450mhz G4. It took me two weeks in total on and off, but to
be fair the first week was spent updating MacOS 9, partitioning and
trying to get the dual boot to work. A flippin' nightmare!
I must admit I did not know you could use distcc on a windows box, can
you 'pause' the windows box or does it have to be up and running
throughout the compile?
OT: Is it worth using distcc over a WAN, what bandwidth would it need
for it to be worthwhile?
