[Sussex] apt clear out

I want to clear out some space in /var/cache/apt/archives and am 
thinking there must be an easy way other than ctrl+a del
It would be handy to leave the most upto date version and clear out the 
old ones as /var is a separate partion and I can use them again if I 
reinstall.

Using apt4rpm on SuSE 9.1
