Ah.. just for the fun of it, clinical trials:

CRF, ECRF, EDC, EDM, IDAM (thats one of our own!), AE, SAE, SDV, SOP,
GCP, FDA, 21 CRF Part 11, NICE,...

Worse than that, these acronyms and buzzwords change from Pharma to Pharma and from
CRO to CRO (what the hell is a CRO?  How does it differ from CRS?).

Is a CRA the same as a CDA or a CDM?  What is a Data Specialist, how
do they differ from a Primary DM? 

... and in the midst of all this we stroll in and say "Linux", "P2P",
"BSD", "VPN" :-)
