Thanks very much.  Its nice to find a linuxy internet corner that's also
reasonably close to my geographical corner!!

Now funnily enough (given Geoff's post a second ago) I always use Debian
for servers but am ridiculously indecisive with everything else.  I
suffer hugely from the 'Gosh-that-new-gadget-looks-fab-let's-try-it'
attitude!!!  Haven't tried Gentoo or Suse strangely enough but am keen
to give Gentoo a go.  Having said that though, I'm finding more and more
that I want to duplicate production and development environments - hence
ubuntu.
