Ah ha! (he said knowingly).

Which means I can comment on this, and on the thread about acronyms with
the response of "GRP" (or gentoo reference platform, as they say in
english!).

Oh, and these "GRP", or pre-compiled binaries, don't only seem to be on
the second of the install discs. I understand that you can get some of
them directly from the portage tree as well - though as I haven't worked
out how to see "exactly" what's available, erm, I think I'll just crawl
back into my box (work! :-( )
