Those of you who like a higher level of debate may be interested in
this years Reith lectures, "The triumph of technology".  They are
broadcast on Radio 4, but you can download them after broadcast from here:

The Reith lectures are an excellent example of what all our license
fees really can produce (and what you'll never get from a free-market
subscription service without legislation).
