The SLUG is however a good excuse to chat about Linux and drink beer.

I would remove the mention of "drink beer" this is dogie area which I 
dont think we want to get in to.
Change it to
The SLUG is however a good excuse to chat about Linux and computers in 
general while having a drink.  The group is for every for IT manager to 
most important ones of all the everyday user.
