Ah, like the GP2X does? >:o)
It uses a derivative of Mplayer, so has support for lots of media 
formats. I've
just gotten my Gentoo box to work with copy-protected DVDs, so now my entire
DVD collection is up for ripping as soon as I have the time. . .

I forsook the PSP for the GP2X, as I prefer old games run via emulators 
& native
Ogg support over the better graphics & widescreen aspect. Amazing, the 
nostalgia
you can get running Dizzy on cutting-edge Linux machines :o)
