Frankly VB's error handling is laughable at best ( I speak with several 
years worth of VB experience, for my sins).

That said the best error message I ever saw in my former life as a 
Windows developer actually came from Crystal Reports.  Simply:

"An unexected error has occurred: Error 0 - No Error"
