a) it should never touch an eclipse server, it'll go through their
routers ;)
b) other option is goto www.whatismyip.com and email me the IP
privately and i'll check it for you. Traceroute is probably easier
though.
This is a sample traceroute from my Zen ADSL line to google.com...
--------------------------
dsl-gw>traceroute www.google.com
Translating "www.google.com"...domain server (212.23.8.1) (212.23.8.6)
(212.23.6.35) (212.23.3.11)
Translating "www.google.com"...domain server (212.23.8.1) [OK]
Type escape sequence to abort.
Tracing the route to www.google.akadns.net (66.102.11.104)
1 gandhi-dsl1.wh.zen.net.uk (62.3.83.5) 24 msec 20 msec 20 msec
2 bolzano-ge-0-0-1-3.wh.zen.net.uk (62.3.80.229) 20 msec 24 msec 20
msec
3 195.16.169.89 20 msec 20 msec 24 msec
4 so-10-0.hsa1.Manchesteruk1.Level3.net (4.68.113.97) 24 msec 32 msec

(this is done from my router - so yours will look slightly different)
Hop 1 will most likely be your router address (either internal or
external), you want to look at the 2nd/3rd hop really - as you can see
here, hop 1 and 2 for me are routers at Zen (hence the domain name
ending zen.net.uk - yours should say 'eclipse.net.uk' at the end).
Hope this all makes sense.
Jon
