Well, on the one hand it looks bad, on the other it looks like they're
just trying to skip some paperwork.  Either way time to really start
lobbying your MEP.

Please write a letter and please ask your MEP to speak to the FSF or
AFFS in the UK about why this directive will be very damaging to
British software companies and to all businesses who use software and
would like to have a choice about who they buy it from.
