[Sussex] Digital IO card

Hi,

We have a system which is used in a Blood Transfusion lab. I want to add a digital IO card to a Fedora Core 3 system so that I can flash some alarm lights when the user needs to attend to an urgent request for blood. 

Has anyone recommendation for a simple digital IO card that has a Linux driver.
