[Sussex] String macros in C/C++

Ah! Yeah - I'll do that. This'll work for the /DATADIR/PACKAGE/ concat
bit, but if I have, say, 10 datafiles of varying description, I don't
really want to be maintaining them through some amazing -D... -D...
thing in the make command line.

Surely there must be an elegant way to do this?!
