Never mind the video - download the Kororaa liveCD (kororaa.org) and  
try it yourself!

XGL makes much better use of the 3D functionality than Vista does, and  
it's much, much faster too: Vista's slow with a GeForce 6, XGL was  
quite acceptable with an MX400. .
