NX is a sort of wrapper for the X protocol, there is a NXviewer for VNC
and an NXdesktop for Windows so you can connect to them.

I have no idea, I suppose it depends on your wifi setup. If you used an
ethernet cable to your AP, you'd only need drivers for your network card
in the LinuxBIOS.
