I did have a little Compaq 320CT - Pentium 120 with 92MB RAM. It was
very happy running XMMS in a Fluxbox session playing MP3s. However it
didn't have a CD reader (but did have a USB port) so I'm not sure how
it would have worked with the cdread plugin. However the machines I've
used the plugin on (varying specs) have never struggled with it - don't
think there's much more to it than playing an MP3...
