[Sussex] The joy of JTAG

Afternoon all,

I got a GP2X when they first came out - the Linux-based handheld console.

Being the first edition, the firmware was buggy. So I tried to upgrade it, and
of course it turned my shiny console into a brick.

So now only a JTAG cable can save it. Before I plunge headlong into the rescue
on my own, I thought I'd ask if anybody else around here's got any experience
of such things?
