I'd think carefully of the implications of installing onto other peoples
computers (as opposed to just doing it for a friend). You have to ensure
they know what the implications are of use of their existing software
(if possible) and backup and restore of their data. This could open a
whole can of worms.

Demonstrations, etc. great, but think carefully before doing installs
(particularly at a show or similar as touched on elsewhere). Encouraging
them to come to a meet would be best and working with them to install -
possibly occaisional separate 'newbie install' meets?
