[Sussex] Sony walkman software for linux

I have a Sony Walkman NetMD MZ-N707 Type -R MDLP minidisc player. Does
anyone know of any linux software available that can transfer music
from my computer to the player?

An alternative pathway for me is to use the Sony OpenMG software running
on WinXP in a virtual machine, but I can't get it to see the host
machine's USB ports. So any help or suggestions in that direction would
be equally valuable.

Many thanks.
