[Sussex] Re; very quiet...

Hi all,

I can say that after my attempts at installing various distro's on my aged laptop, I gave up. But only to pick up and dust of a slightly younger Gateway desktop. And this has managed to accept Ubuntu with no hiccups and gripes at all! So I am still here, just busy absorbing my very first Linux experience and 'learning'.
