I don't care for Debian any more since they started actively removing
GNU documentation from main and not putting it back anymore.

Last week I upgraded bashdoc... and immediately after I no longer had
the info files!

I realize that Debian voted on this and that the decision was to
remove it. But it seemed to me that removing it and not putting it in
somewhere else (non-free?) was just zealotry.

I spoke to a few other people and they said the same.

I complained, others haven't. Mostly the reaction I got was "Up yours
we're the Debian project and we're protecting freedom we are".


I'm still on Debian coz I'm too busy to change... but I'm looking at
archlinux as an alternative.

It looks to have a nice vibrant community around it and a slightly
more welcoming developer base.
