[Sussex] vaio linux support

I have one of the small Vaio Laptop and, it all works on my Mandriva 2007,
including:-
Modem, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi. and the 1280 x 800 display.
As the modem is always the biggest challenge I was surprised.
Now what support are you requiring as there is nothing made by Sony (other
than the badge) in the equation.
Display and Wi-Fi (ipw2200) - Intel
Analyse the individual components and look to the the hardware
manufacturers.

And NO, putting proper operating system on in no way affects the warrantee.
