Steve,

where I do the same ol' sameo because I can't be bothered to change. How
many of us can say that we put the same about of effort into those
things that we find boring and dull as we do into those things that
interest us?

Most people out there know so little about computers that nobody has even
taught them the difference between memory and storage. They use
applications because they came with the OS. Like the analogy that "if the
indicators were on when they bought the car, they are still on"

Windows users don't realise there is anything better, its like a fear of
using something different. Its like that with web browsers and office
packages as it is with operating systems.

My business is supporting domestic customers, so I get to see mostly
Windows users and the bulk are complete newbies. Microsoft have long
disposed of any useful documentation so these people will never learn on
their own. They also lack the confidence or time to learn with others.
