[Sussex] Sound on Linux Distros

Depending on the distro the hardware coverage is good.
I use Mandriva and I just never have problems with sound.
You should also determine the sound chip set because many of the 
companies do provide linux drivers for their chipsets.
I do though, occasionally have some problems with the graphics cards and 
am strugg;ing at the moment with a Via P4M900 chipset.
