The next Portsmouth and South East Hampshire Linux Users Group meeting
will be this coming Saturday, 17th November 2018 from 1pm to 6pm in the
Broad Oak Social Club, Hilsea. Talks start at 3pm.

All things being equal and with a fair wind I hope to have some slides put
together for a short talk on:

A Journey into Ansible using Dokuwiki

This won't be an in depth dive into Ansible, but a walk through some of the
decisions I've made in putting together an Ansible playbook to automatically
deploy Dokuwiki to my intranet server, and upgrade when a new version is
released. Dokuwiki is an open source wiki that doesn't require a database. This
install covers uploading, extracting and symlinking the PHP code, configuring
Apache to server the site and using variables and templates to make things as
generic as possible.

I've also recently put together a basic GUI to CLI command using PySimpleGUI
and then made it a standalone executable with PyInstaller. There's no talk, but
if anyone is interested I will make sure I have the code with me.
