Thanks for these two replies. Yes, the cdrom was working OK with other
applications, but for some reason the guy who wrote cdroast doesn't
seem to like ide-cdroms, so to use the fast read speed of my other CD
drive, or be able to do direct copies, I have to get it to appear as a
scsi device. (This change didn't seem to affect any other applications.)
