hi ppl

i recently re-installed wingedoes on my laptop and can no longer
run mandrake. how can i restore the boot sector to bring up the
boot menu?

also, i had to re-install the complete system on my main machine
which took all day for wingedoes. but when i came to install
mandrake, it kept reportin that the partition table is corrupt. this is
*after* i repartitioned the hd.

is there any utility i can run that will repair the parttion table? i've
tried partition magic and it don't seem to do it.

btw, i hope to make it on wednesday.
