[SWLUG] Cross-platform mail clients

Hi all,

I'm looking for a resonable mail client that will run on both Linux and
Windows. I have setup my laptop upto dual-boot between Redhat 8.0 and XP
Pro.

I would like to have a shared mail directory that I can store on FAT
partition and access under both OS's.

I have considered IMAP, but would like to store my mail locally.

Anyone know of such a package or recommend one?
