Mandrake 9 worked perfectly fine here as a fresh install, even coped
with setting up RAID 1 which was a first for me. The entire install was
done in 30 minutes and everything was set up perfectly.

I have now nuked my Mandrake install and replaced it with Debian 3.0,
which totally failed on the RAID 1 test and took far longer than 30
minutes to set up, but it was worth it :)
