Good Morning All

I have recently developed a fault with the keyboard of my laptop (AJP). After a little use the keyboard fails and cannot input with it. If I only log out of KDE (2.2.2) and return the problem remains. I have to reboot.

I used HardDrake (as a user so enterd root password) to have a look at the problem and this did not have a keyboard option.

Next I tried Mandrake Control Centre who told me that I had selected a UK keyboard.

Finaly, I used KDE Control Centre that said I had chosen "Generic 104-Key PC". It did allow me to choose others, so I chose "Generic 105-Key (Intl) PC".

I rebooted. But alas the same problem occures.

Any help appreciated

Stephen (Swansea, Wales, UK)
