hi ppl
i'm a little gniffed wiv mandrake. it looks great on the surface but seems
to be
more than a little broken internally. and all i want it to do is act as a
server for
our lan here at www.trefach.com
i want a intranet website and local email as well as a samba server to share
a 114gb hard drive. so lookin thru the distro list i found Server Optimised
Linux.
it installs fine, and i managed to configure X. but there dont seem to be a
centralised configuration tool like netconf. apparently i am told i have to do
this manually wiv the configuration files.
so i aint complainin bout this, what i am askin is a book that follows the
vein as the sag. telsa, you recommended a book, but i forgot what the title
was.
i don't want a book that generalises on how red-hat works, or too
involved like the kernal hackers guide - which i do like tho. also, can i
install existin configuration tools like netconf?
