Hi mark,

I've never run into that error (yet!)  I've used both Infiniti and 
Memorex without errors.  However, there *is* a problem with drive 
compatibility in general with CDRs and DVDRs, more prevalent with the 
latter.  Some drives do not like particular dyes used on blanks, for 
example Sony dye used on several makes of DVD.  It could be this that is 
your problem and not the cdrecord itself.
