i received a silver speedtouch 330 yesterday (still to have dsl
activated yet).  tried to configure it on one of my archaic boxes. 
needless to say it was more hassle than it was worth! however, i'm
sure if i installed a newer distro and upgraded a lot of the
packages/kernel that it would work in some capacity.  OTOH, I may just
buy a wifi router and be done with it!!!  besides, i could use that
box for something else then!
