Okay, i have given this a go myself just to check how it works, i dont
normally use multisession, as i said before i think its pointless, use a
cdrw or a usb key instead.

So, we run k3b, click on 'Create New Data CD Project', and we drag a
bunch of files from the file browser at the top, to the project window
at the bottom.

When happy with the file collection, press Burn.
under the 'Settings' tab choose 'Start Multisession'
under 'Filesystems' youll likely want both 'Joliet' and 'RockRidge'
ticked, thats the long filename support for Windows and Linux/Unix
respectively, otherwise youll just get 8.3 filenames.
Now hit the Burn button, and you should have your first cd.

To add more files, again, run k3b, start a new data cd project, drag all
your additional files to the project and hit the burn button, repeat all
the other instructions, except this time select 'Continue Multisession'

Now when you hit the Burn button the result will be a cd that contains
both the new and old files.

You can keep adding more sessions in the same way until you run out of
space, or you choose 'Finish Multisession' to close the disc for good.
