Hi All,
I'm late getting to this, so apologies...

First off, I've yet to manage attending any of the meets (I'm a full time
Dad, and my wife works shifts). However, I'm keen.
For 'smallish groups' I'm wondering about inviting people to my shed
(really!). It's a big shed. It has loads of power points, DSL access,
enough network points, a fridge, a loo, heating, a projector
and a bunch of PCs, at least one of which could be used for
anything you fancy, as it's lying idle (with a half installed LFS
build on it).
The only real problems are 1. It would be a bit cosy for more than
half a dozen people. 2. I live in the middle of nowhere (Vale
of Glamorgan, just South of Llanharry, between J34 and J35 on
the M4). Lastly, 3. My wife doesn't know I'm typing this yet!
There's no waitress service, and the food is awful. Good coffee
though, and I can manage a bucket of snacks and some drinks.
Parking for up to four or five cars is manageable, and we can easily
get wheelchairs in (although it's not completely flat). There is no
local public transport though, which is a pain.
Is this interesting? Seems to me it might be the only way I can
get to a LUG meet! If a few people think this is a good idea, I'll
run it past the boss.
All the best,
Glenn.
