Afternoon all.
I've installed Relay on my server at home. It's a lovely AJAX-fuelled
file manager, and you can see the demo and wiki here:
http://ecosmear.com/relay/
It's a joy to use. At least the copy I've got on my webserver is. On
my file server at home, I'm having an issue with MIME types - it might
help if you have a look at the demo to help understand the problem I'm
having, but in a nutshell the server is claiming that every single
file it sees is of type text/plain, making downloading things annoying
(because Windows/Firefox is appending .txt to all file names) and
viewing thumbnails of photos and PDFs impossible.
The server's running Ubuntu Breezy. PHP/MySQL/Perl/Apache are all
installed and working - at least enough for everything else to be
functioning. Apache and PHP have handled MIME types fine elsewhere on
this box - anyone got any ideas why it could be falling over before I
start hassling the developers or mooching through the code myself?
