[SWLUG] OGG on Sony W810i phone?

Nope - I'm using both the S700i and the W800i, and both are MP3 (or 
DRM-free ACC) only.

Although I have everything recorded in OGG, it doesn't both me - I just 
run a little script which copies a directory of OGG's into MP3s (at 128k 
for max space/quality). Give me a good 10-12 hours on a 512Mb card.

Also, as a quick note (and based on my experiences with the two phones) 
- the phone will mount as a UMS device, so you can copy all your music 
into the mp3/ directory on the drive (don't put into the sounds 
directories).

However, to get the device to recognize the music correctly under the 
'Artists' option (without having to create playlists each time), all the 
music must be 2 levels deep, otherwise it either won't see it (at the 
first level) or complain there's nothing there (you can't navigate to 
the third level or further).

For example, my W800i at the moment is:
