[SWLUG] More help getting this system working

I wonder if this problem is related to the one I have with the new
kernel from Suse? Have no yet had a reply from them to my query, have
not yet looked at putting a pemanent installation of Knoppix 5.1.1 which
works wonders run off the DVD.
