[SWLUG] dual layer dvd question

i've just used k3b to burn a dual layer dvd, i chose the verify option and k3b 
reports a successful burn, but out of interest i did an md5sum of the 
original iso and the burner device, the md5sums are different, is this 
possibly because the dvd has two layers and there is something extra put onto 
the dvd because of this?
