Funny I tried Kubuntu recently and loved the whole aptitude thing. I'm now
seriously considering moving to Kubuntu from Slackware.
Thing is that I have /home mixed in with the root ("/") so I'll be searching
to remind myself how to move it to a separate partition. I may just start
fresh ... but I have a supreme hoarding instinct so deleting files is hard
stuff for me ... maybe someday I'll need those old Uni emails (left Uni last
Millenium!) that I've not looked at since I left.
If I can find a "new" HDD I might keep Slack but I'm finding my need to get
things done is compromised at the moment by finding and installing stuff.
Anyhoo ...
