[SWLUG] Can my bios support larger HDD?

Thanks to everyone for their help Getting my data red. I am currently typing this on a knoppix installation on my windows machine which is copying my data across as a back up. Great system.

I am looking to get another hard disk to replace the one giving problems.

However the motherboard is an old one. It is around 8 years old at least and came originally with windows 98. There may be a limitation on the size of hard disk that the bios can support. My disks have always been 20GB. How do I determine the limits?
