[SWLUG] What's the difference between a VGA & DVI cable?

VGA is a 'D' shaped port (like the old mouse and serial modem connections).

DVI is a squarish port with pins/holes in 3 rows of 8.

You can normally get cable converters, e.g. the PC I'm currently using
has a DVI output and the monitor has a VGA input. Not sure if they
convert the other way though...
