Hi all,

Thanks to all who attended and especially to the speakers and Steven for
getting us a projector.  I think the format of talks and then pub works
well.  Also as we only seem to average about 1.5-2 hours of talks I'm
not going to hire the room for the length of time we've been hiring it
for.  This makes it all much cheaper.  Coupled with the amount of money
we made this time round, we're probably going to go back to the £2/£1
split for the next set of talks.  Sorry that the price has fluctuated a bit.

We made a total of £52 in entry fees.  The room hire was £52, as we'd
hired it from 1730 to 2200.  Next time we're just going for 1800-2100,
which is around £30.  The rates had gone up since the first time we'd
hired it so I'm not sure how much one session costs now.

This means that the next set of talks will open at 1800 and we'll aim to
start the talks at 1815.

If you can do a talk at the next tech meeting, September 13th, please
let me know.  I'll start up a thread for the next tech meeting in a few
days time.
